First off....went to sleep this morning at 8am and woke up at 11am!!!....I forgot to go to Steve's(Terp4444) house to pick up his extra poker table that he was nice enough to lend me free of charge for my $1/$3 NL game that have been swelling in attendance since I partnered with my friend Lou....I came by 4 in the afternoon to pick up the table even tho he had his own $2/$5 NL game to run in about an hour at 5pm......me being a pain in the ass also asked about borrowing any extra folding chairs.....sure enough he gave me 2.....now thats a true friend in my dictionary and I would glady return any favors he needs in the future!!!
Headed to my game and setup the 2nd table beside the other one....the $400 freeroll NL tourney I threw went without a hitch....and then straight 2 the cash games on both tables.....I was playing on the 2nd table to keep it going when I picked up...AA....against a player of mine that had K-K....bump of limpers and he raised to $28 and I reraised to $128 to let him know I had the one hand that beat him....of course he thinks and thinks.....right when he was about to shove all-in...I told him to stop because I had the American-Airlines.....I did this because I don't generally like to bust my own players coming to my game....it feels sorta dirty that they give u action and u personally crack them.....but that's just my personality....some may say I'm a fool...but I also believe in the almighty Karma......long story short....he saved his money and thanked me. Other than that....the game was so full that I had to even give up my seat to the 20th player in my game....I jumped in the box and dealt several shifts and bad beats.
Just got home about 30 minutes ago with my partner going to update me every hour to let me know the game is running smoothly or if any problems occur(hope not!!!)....it's nice to build a big homegame because your reputation is sometimes on the line as well...alot of my current players come to my game because they know I provide a nice atmosphere/friendly poker game and no shady stuff will occur under my watch/game....for them to trust me enough by coming to my games weekly makes me proud of myelf and my partner who runs it when I'm not there.....well thats about it...going to sleep...classes tomorrow...Peace.
